Oscar's

I feel obliged to write this review for a couple reasons.

First of all, these guys came to deliver my pizza during the insane blizzard on 3/14/17. I went out early in the morning to check the conditions and then didn't leave for the rest of the day. When I called to order, I thought the streets were being plowed and at least driveable.

I was absolutely wrong. There was total chaos. Buses, Fire trucks, passenger cars were all stuck around our intersection and if you tried to drive through, your car would almost definitely get stuck at some point.

The delivery driver from Oscar's still came through all this. They were late but they still came! (And no blame for being late, if I was in that guy's place I wouldn't have delivered at all). Their car got stuck, and when they called my wife went down to grab the food and then the guy called again asking me to walk down the street, and I want to truly apologize for being heated as I had no idea about the road conditions.

I asked my wife to give him an extra $5 on top of the tip we already paid through Grubhub. I should've paid him an extra $20 if I had known what was going on outside. Their pizzas are absolutely delicious and taste fresh even when they're cold.

And to the guy from Oscar's, thanks and I hope you accept my apology for being rude on the phone. You guys are amazing and truly customer centric.

Omg I love this place! I am home for college for the Summer and I have ordered from this place like 4 times, and I don't usually order food. I am honestly gonna miss it when I go back this weekend. The food is very unique and tastes delicious. Many pizza/pasta places all taste the same. Not this place. There are unique choices and everything Ive tried is delicious. The delivery is always on time or early, and the prices are better than any other place nearby. I can feel my whole family for around 20 bucks. So good. I usually get the pizza (cheeseburger pizza is weird but good! Give it a shot!) but today I got a salad and calzone. The calzone is so huge! And its less money than what some places charge for something smaller. It was always so cheesy, hot and delicious!! I also love that you can choose 3 toppings and it doesn't add charges. The salad was great, I tried the shrimp salad and the veggies were fresh and the shrimp was good too. I do prefer the cheesecake over the chocolate cake since its such a good value. But that's a personal preference. I highly recommend this place to anyone! They have good dietary options too for vegetarians or people who cant have gluten which is great too! :)

This place is hit or miss but I still order because they only messed up once and there are very few places in Albany that sell lemon pepper wings. What I like is the 'fries surprise' what I mean by that is sometimes they give you a tiny container of fries and sometimes (like my last order) they give you a giant container full of fries enough for two or three people. I guess it depends on how busy they are to how many fries they will give you.

Generous Portions, Delicious food, especially the Baled Ziti, I can't think of a word good enough to truly describe how wonderful it tastes. although they could use better descriptions of how some of the items are prepared, they could use to do a little better with the raspberry sauce for their cheesecake, it's a bit obvious that they just tossed on some Raspberry preserves from a jar.

We just discovered Oscar's. This is a FANTASTIC fast food place. The food is not only "fast," but quality. We plan to order take out again and visit in person. Oscars, keep doing what you are doing. Don't forger that you are playing the LONG GAME... Quality never goes out of style. Thank you !!!

I have never written a comment before, not only is the food good, delivery on time and delivered hot everytime. It's consitent. Won't go wrong order from here.
